PROJECT & CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Contrary to the common misconception that Construction Management Services (CMS) and Project Management Services (PMS) are inherently the same, they each play vital roles in construction projects, with distinct responsibilities and areas of focus.

The key distinction lies in the fact that CMS services are often more concentrated on the construction phase, whereas PMS services encompass a broader range of tasks that cover the entire project lifecycle. The choice between the two typically depends on the client's specific needs and the complexity of the project.

Construction Management Services (CM)

Construction management services primarily focus on the day-to-day execution of the construction phase of a project.

The scope of CM services are briefly to oversee and coordinate all construction-related activities to ensure that the project is built according to the plans, specifications, budget, and schedule.

Project Management Services (PM)

Project management services encompass the entire lifecycle of a construction project, from initial planning to closeout.

Project managers (PMs) oversee and coordinate all aspects of a project, not just the construction phase.
